New Castle - Passed away peacefully on March 25, 2021.
A viewing will be held for Shirley on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 10:00am-11:00am at Krienen Funeral Home, 101 W. 6th St., New Castle, DE 19720. What can't you say about Shirley. She was one of the strongest, no non sense, give it to you straight, kindest, loving personalities here in new castle. Shirley will be sadly missed by so many. She had a genuine heart and loved her family to the fullest. It's gonna be different going to the house now to visit because there will be a huge void, it's hard to believe when I walk in I won't see her in her chair. My thoughts and prayers are with the Octavio family, my family and friends. Love you all so much. God bless.

To the Octavio Family and the Camelli Family,
I am so sorry for the loss of Shirley. She was always so sweet and very beautiful. I have lots of memories of growing up in Shawtown with her and the Hurd and Octavio and the Camelli family. I will keep all of you in my thoughts prayers.

Shirley which I called her Ms O. Was a tough woman very very nice for the right reasons I didn’t hang around to much to get to know her 100% full fled , but from growing up in Shawtown I know that she was the nicest lady on the other side of the street, I did know and hear that she would give you the shirt off her back or her last. I know it because I’ve seen it... she will be greatly missed .....
