I am so sorry to hear of Steven's passing today. I believe that Steven was in my son's ( Mark Dougherty) class at St. Matthews School , graduated wiith Mark at St. Marks and also a member of Cub Scouts Pack 21. I was his Den Mother (Mrs. Gail Dougherty - Steven gave a beautiful string of long white pearls for Christmas which I believe I still might have) If this isn't the Steven Chalfant I'm truley sorry for taken up your time but I'm still sorry for your loss. He appears to me, that he still has that beautiful smile.
God Bless Your Family,
Gail Dougherty

Chalfant family...so sorry to hear of the passing of Stephen. We had many great times at Saint Matthews and, in some ways, it seems like yesterday. I have lived in OH for the past 30 years but actually brought my son (now 24) back to St. Matthews from Ohio and Deacon Chalfant baptized him. Stephen and his family will be in our prayers.
