Stephen Pink Obituary

Stephen C. Pink

AGE: 34 • Newark, DE

Stephen Pink, age 34 of Newark, DE, passed away suddenly at home on January 17, 2017. Stephen graduated from The Academy of Communications and Publishing at Delcastle Technical High School in 2000. In 1999, he received a Certificate of Appreciation from the New Castle County Vocational Technical School District for updating and redesigning the website for Delcastle.

He worked for 12 years as a Geek Squad Double Agent at Best Buy - "once an agent, always an agent." Stephen had the innate ability to build rapport with all walks of life. His door was open to all and he will be sorely missed by his friends and family. He had a passion for art and had the ability to think outside of the box and always gave others an honest, but respectful perspective, on any life issue or subject matter. Stephen will be best remembered for his contagious laughter, great sense of humor, generosity and, of course, his cooking.

Stephen was predeceased by his father, Duane Pink; his brother, Brian; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Clawson and his paternal grandparents, Deyso (Art) and Martha Pink.

Stephen is survived by his mother, Mary Ann (Clawson) Pink, his brother, Michael Pink and the love his life, his daughter, Cassidy VanKavelaar. In addition, he leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Bob and Ann Clawson of Indiana and Joe and Karen Clawson of New Jersey, and his great aunts, Joan Gery and Betty Kunkle. He also leaves behind many cousins, extended family members, and close friends.

Service and burial for Stephen will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Stephen may be made to ATTACK ADDICTION, P.O. Box 36, Bear, DE 19701. Please note on the memo line that your donation is in his memory. To send message of condolence to Stephen's family visit www.mccreryandharra.com

Maryann I am so sorry for the loss of your son, Stephen. How does one comfort a mother when she loses a child. Words cannot express. I pray that you find peace knowing Stephen is no longer in pain or suffering. I pray that God releases angels to be by your side during this time and I pray you find a peace beyond all understanding.
