Steven CATALANO Obituary

Steven B. Catalano, Jr. Steven B. Catalano Jr., age 58 passed away at home on Tuesday, August 5, 2003, surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness. Mr. Catalano was a pressman for 35 years for Clement Communications. He loved playing golf and was a lifetime member of St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church. His greatest joy was being a grandfather to Amanda, Samantha, Nicholas, Caitlyn and Krystine. He was predeceased by his father, Steven B. Catalano, Sr. and in May of this year; and the love of his life, his wife, Marian J. Catalano. Mr. Catalano leaves to cherish his memory 3 sons, Steven A. and his wife, Patti, of Newark, Richard M. and his wife, Kate, of Wilmington and Gary R. of Philadelphia, PA; his mother, Helen E. (Ventresca) Catalano of Wilmington; his brother, Albert and his wife, Ronnie, of Wilmington; and sister, Patricia Woods and her husband, Matthew, of Wilmington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, August 11, 2003 in St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, 809 S. Broom St., Wilmington, at 10:30 am. Entombment will be in Cathedral Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday evening, August 10, 2003 at the MCCRERY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike, Talleyville from 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Talleyville Fire Company, 3919 Concord Pike, Wilmington DE 19803; or to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720.
