Cannibal is like one of my kids! I met him when he was a teen and he would come over my home with friends all the time! He is one of the sweetest most generous young men I got the pleasure to know! My husband, son and myself will always cherish the time we got to spend with him!

My daughter and I met Thomas(and his mother),when Thomas and my daughter were about three or four years old at the daycare center at the Y. Thomas and Dee always walked hand and hand, and were best friends into their adult lives. I have watched Thomas, and my daughter Deadra grow up to became beautiful adults. We are very honored to have known Thomas," the HERO"; in our lifetime. We will miss Thomas a lot. My condolences to Ms.Cottingham.

He was one of the coolest guys I've ever known. The way he passed didn't even come as a surprise to me because that's exactly the kind of person he was. Fearless and selfless. A soldier in our dark world.

I didn't know the brave young man but you are an inspiration to many. Anyone else would have not got involved but you did and sorrowfully it cost you your life. Prayers to your family and friends.

I did not know Tom and I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to understand why such a tragedy could happen. Please try to keep the Faith. God puts Angels on this earth and Tom was one of them. I will be praying for your family every day. Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.
