Walter ANGULO Obituary

Walter J. Angulo Walter J. Angulo of Cornwall, PA, formerly of Coffee Run Condominiums, Hockessin, DE, died February 19, 2004 of a brain tumor at the Cornwall Manor Retirement Home. Mr. Angulo was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. He graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and received a BE and PhD in chemical engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. While in the army during World War II, he served as an engineer at Oak Ridge on the Manhattan Project. He worked for the DuPont Company for nearly 31 years in a variety of managerial assignments in several departments. He retired in 1982. He was an elder and deacon of Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Helen Z. Angulo of Cornwall; son, Jeffrey E. Angulo of Myrtle Beach, SC; and daughters, Carol A. Davidson of Hershey, PA, Jane L. Angulo of Boulder, CO and Karen J. Angulo of Seattle, WA. His 7 grandchildren, Amanda J. Fitzgerald, Laura Lynn Sanford, Christopher J. Angulo, Ryan M. Davidson, Jennifer E. Davidson, and Nathan W. Davidson, Philip C. Yatuzis; and 3 great grandchildren, Michael T. Fitzgerald, Isaiah C. Fitzgerald and Gabriel Walter Angulo, also survive him. A viewing will be held at 7 pm on Sunday, February 22nd, at the CHANDLER FUNERAL HOME, 7230 Lancaster Pike, Hockessin, DE. The service will be held at 11 am on Monday, February 23rd, at the Red Clay Creek Church, Mill Creek & McKennans Church Rds., Wilmington, DE 19808.
