Walter Allen Danovich Walter Allen Danovich, age 62 of New Castle, DE died Friday, November 26, 2004, in Philadelphia, PA. Born November 12, 1942 in Boston, MA, Walt served his country with valor in the United States Navy, including a tour of duty in Vietnam. After receiving an honorable discharge, he worked for U.S. Airways for over 30 years, retiring in 1999. He spent his retirement years dedicated to the rescue of collies. Walt is survived by his wife of 35 years, Peggy Danovich; 3 sons, Kevin Danovich, Jeff Danovich and Dennis Danovich; 1 granddaughter, Olivia Qalam-Danovich; a brother, Richard Danovich of Oxford, CT; sister, JoAnne Pilz of Easton, MA; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 am on Friday, December 3, 2004, at the SPICER-MULLIKIN FUNERAL HOME, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where friends may call after 10 am.
