Wayland Reynolds Obituary
Bud was born in Lewes, DE, the son of Bessie Johnson Reynolds of Georgetown and the late Wayland M. Reynolds, Sr.
He was a service tech for Sharp Gas for 40 years retiring in 2008.
He attended Crossroad Community Church in Georgetown. He was a charter member of the S.A.L. (Sons of the American Legion). He enjoyed wood crafts, gardening and shopping at Lowes.
He will be remembered most of all as a family man.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elaine Reynolds; children, Shelly Reynolds Shockley of Millsboro, Timothy M. Reynolds of Millsboro and Terry J. Reynolds, Sr. and wife Jodie of Georgetown; 4 grandchildren, Billy J. Shockley, III, Seth M. Shockley, Dustin M. Reynolds, and Terry J. Reynolds, Jr.; sister, Bonnie Reynolds Morris and husband Gary of Lincoln; brothers, Bill H. Reynolds of Georgetown and Edward D. Reynolds and wife Sue of Georgetown and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE 19947, where friends may call from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Burial will be in Cokesbury Cemetery, Georgetown, DE.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Cystic Fibrosis, Delaware Valley Chapter, Suite 208, 2004 Sproul Road, Broomall, PA 19008.
