Agnes Brennan Obituary

Agnes V. Brennan (nee DiCerbo), age 84, of Folcroft, peacefully passed away on December 5, 2016 surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia, Agnes previously worked at the A&P, and retired from Rickel Home Center in Glenolden. She was actively involved with the Schoolhouse Senior Center in Folsom and the Watkins Center in Upper Darby, but most of all Agnes loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Agnes is predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Aloysius J. Brennan and her sisters Marie Lopez and Shirley Lee. Survivors include her children, James R. Brennan (Marian) and Janet M. Brennan (Robert DiCristino); her sister, Florence Menginie; her grandchildren, Matthew Brennan, Sarah DiCristino-Brennan, Christopher DiCristino-Brennan, Robert D. DiCristino (Cathleen Lee), Andrew Simpson, William Simpson, and Matthew Simpson; and 1 great grandson, Robert F. DiCristino. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, from 9:00-10:00am at the Church of Saint Gabriel, 233 Mohawk Ave. Norwood, Pa. followed by her funeral mass at 10:00am. Burial at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Agnes’s name may be made to the Schoolhouse Senior Center, 600 Swarthmore Ave. Folsom, PA 19033.
