The blessings of those times together are immeasurable and unforgettable. We love you Aunt Alice and we will miss you. To the entire McCarthy Family,
Our deepest condolences. Alice was my sister Dorothy's mother-in law. Alice was a kind, welcoming and caring soul who always put family first. Her warmth would light up the room. We always enjoyed her company at family celebrations and the annual Kentucky Derby parties. She would always take the time to say something kind to me and my kids. She will be dearly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To all of the McCarthy's and extended family members
Lucy and I were very saddened to learn this news, when I spoke to my sister, Ann Marie recently. Alice was such a delightful, funny, compassionate and very caring person and we all enjoyed her company. We have known Alice and her family since 1981.
Our fondest memories are many, but we had so much fun every year at their annual Fourth of July party in Stone Harbor, NJ. Our kids Kathryn and Thomas were very small at the time, and Alice and Tim always invited them to their house and pool while we were at the Jersey Shore. We had the chance to frequently gather with Tim, Tim Jr, Dennis, John, Brian and their families; and we sure did have many laughs, and shared lots and lots of stories along the way.
We will dearly miss her and our prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this time.

Condolences to Tim and the rest of the McCarthy family. Alice was a great lady and will be dearly missed. She was like a second mother to John's Villanova friends and she was always so kind, generous and sincerely happy to see us. My fondest memories had to be her wonderful meals, Alice defending Penny girl when she was older, and her trying to keep Tim quiet when he would shout his usual early morning greeting of Alice, should we wake the boys?!. Best to all the McCarthys! We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

My heartfelt prayers and condolences to Diann Coghlan, sister of Alice, and Diann's sons and their families who no doubt spent much time together with the McCarthy family. Diann shared many stories about her sister and their times together. While I never personally spent time with Alice, knowing Diann has given me a sense of having met Alice through the love of her sister. Alice, you have left a legacy of heartfelt relationships. May you rest in the embrace of God now and smile down from heaven.
Prayerfully, Sr. Marie Pappas, CR

I knew Alice for over 20 years. She was my sister Lori's mother-in-law. I would see her at various family gatherings over the years and every single time I spoke with her, I was impressed with the genuine sense of interest and caring she would have for what I had to say. From our brief conversations, she knew I loved the movies and would always ask if I had seen any good ones. I would talk with great enthusiasm on the latest superhero movie and she would always listen with great intent. So when I think back to my favorite moment with Alice, there is not one that sticks out above the rest, they were all equally wonderful. Jennifer and I send our deepest condolences to the entire McCarthy family.

Dear McCarthy Family,
We are so sorry to hear about Alice. She was always so generous to host John's Villanova friends for many dinners that were greatly appreciated by us college students. Even 30 years after graduation, she gave us her home for Nova Homecoming. As her obituary said, a def hall of fame mom whose graciousness, sense of humor and love of family will not be forgotten.
Our prayers are with you all.

Mr. McCarthy, Tim, Johnny, Denny and Logger, I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. McCarthy was such a wonderful person. I will always remember the fun times at the Valley Forge house and down the shore in Stone Harbor. She always made me feel like I was part of the family. Rest in Peace Mrs. McCarthy.
