Andre J. Dupuis

Andre J. Dupuis, 32 American Legion Member Andre J. Dupuis, 32, of Kirkwood, entered into rest on Saturday evening, August 6, 2011. Born in Aston, he was a son of J. Ozzie and Joan M. (Dugan) Dupuis of Kirkwood. Andre graduated from Solanco High School in 1998 and was a 2001 graduate of the Williamson Trade School in Middletown. He was employed as a superintendant for the Brickman Group, Inc. in Media. Andre was a member of the American Legion in both Rising Sun and Media; and the Ancient Order of the Croaking Frogs, Quarryville. He enjoyed hunting and especially loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Dugan, and paternal grandparents, Emery and Lorraine Dupuis. Survivors: In addition to his parents, Andre is survived by a brother, Michael, husband of Michelle Dupuis of Mount Joy; a sister, Stephanie, wife of Jason Wood of Nottingham; maternal grandmother, Matilda Dugan of Aston; and three adoring nephews: Alex, Adam, and Jesse James. Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Church of the Sacred Heart, 203 Church Rd., Oxford, PA 19363 on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Gregory Hamill as celebrant. There will be a visitation on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Dewald Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 227 West Fourth St., Quarryville.
