Dear Ann, I'm sorry life was so hard. From Whitby Ave.to West chester you witnessed your nieces and nephews building great lives while laying a foundation for wonderful futures for their children. You were an example of determination, perserverance and independence.
Mother and Dad must have been waiting with outstretched arms and radiant smiles when they knew you were coming. Thank you for being a good big sister and fun aunt to my daughters. Every family has an exciting aunt, and you were theirs.
Your uniqueness will be talked about often! You will always be remembered!
Love, Cathy

Aunt Ann, I'll always remember getting those great big hugs and kisses every time we saw each other. You were a very loving and giving person (I have a closet full of stuff to prove it! Including my prized possession of the commemorative Coke bottle for the 1982 Penn State National Championship season!) You will be forever missed and fondly remembered. Love you!

Ann,
I am the white-haired one, as many in our family know. Ann was the black-haired one. This was the distinction for some of the little ones.
Ann was a most generous, giving person who had a laugh and a sense of humor that everyone loved. She also had a short fuse, and when she got upset there were no boundaries. The doctor said, "speech is who you are." With Ann's stroke taking that away there would be no laugh, no fight, there would be no Ann.
The bag lady as we called her would give the shirt off of her back, the roast in the oven and the cookies we all loved. She would support the cause be it for cancer, our veterans and family in Iraq and elsewhere or leading the parade to balk at all things political. If you were for it, she was against it just to stir the pot.
She was the only person I knew who could come out of Dollar Discount with two carts. She loved to shop and she loved the casinos.
Her true, true love was the love she had for her nieces and nephews. She was happiest when you were around.
As we were all taught, "God is all powerful". In other words, He is in charge. Well, get ready God, because Ann will challenge you and the Dolan's bet is on Ann.
Today, let us have a toast to Ann with a Pepsi raised high.
We all love you Ann, and it is time for you to be at Peace.
Love,
Peg

Granny Ann,
I can't express in words how sad I was when I heard that you had left us. Dave and I were blessed to have you in our lives. I have enough fond memories to last a lifetime. You taught us about the things my parents didn't like. Namely Pepsi, staying up late, and watching scary movies. I was always impressed with your ability to get us anywhere by foot, bus, or trolley. We'll miss you terribly, but love you forever

Aunt Ann, your love of dogs (and all animals) has definitely worn off on me - I work at a zoo and even come home to one every night. Every time I open my guest room closet I think of you - it's full of games, just like your "fun aunt" closet:) I hope you are giving hugs and belly rubs and getting lots of kisses from Snuffy, Pierre, and all your babies! When I hit it big in the lottery (I'll carry on your legacy by playing regularly) I will open the Ann D. Dolan Doggie Day Care and Shelter. Love you!

Aunt Ann,
I cannot believe that you are gone. I can still hear your laugh and hear you telling us stories about when we were kids. I remember the times at your house playing with the dogs and baking cookies. I still have the watch you gave me for my Confirmation when you stood for me as my sponsor. I took St. Ann's name that day, so know that I will always carry your name as a part of mine. I miss you and love you. We have truly suffered a loss.
I send you on your journey with my love. XOXO
