Charles N. "Butch" Griffin Jr.

Charles N. “Butch” Griffin, Jr., age 75 of Garnet Valley, PA, passed away peacefully at home on March 22, 2022. Born in Wilmington, DE, Butch was raised and spent most of his life in Bethel Twp., PA, previously residing in Concord Twp., PA. Devoted to his faith, he was a member of the Siloam United Methodist Church, and was also an F&AM with the Concord Masonic Lodge #625. For the past 15 years, Butch worked as a fire equipment salesman for Witmer Public Safety Corporation. He was a life-long member of the Bethel Twp. Hose Company #1, where Butch was a former Fire Marshal, as well as a volunteer firefighter. He was also the Chief Officer for the past 4 decades of the Concordville Fire Department. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting at State College and playing a good game of softball for the fire company league. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles N., Sr. and Orpha J. (Weller) Griffin, and is survived by 6 children, Shelly (Matt) Murphy, Charles N. (Karen) Griffin, III, Verna “Toni” (Mike) Trainor, Nancy (Robert) Gober, Joanne “Bo” (Reuben) West, and Dominick “DJ” (Sara) Griffin, brother, Robert Griffin, 9 grandchildren, Alexandria, Edward, Kimberly, Verna, Mike, David, Dominick, Michela, and Curz, as well as his great-granddaughter, Gracesin. A viewing will be held on Monday evening, March 28, 2022, from 6-8PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd. Garnet Valley, PA , followed by Masonic service at 8PM, as well as Tuesday morning, 10-11AM followed by funeral service at 11:00AM. Interment, Siloam United Methodist Cemetery, Garnet Valley, PA.
