Dear Debbie, Moose, Kathy & Family,

Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe. You have to believe that Davey was here for a reason and your connection will NeVER be broken. We know there is no pain as far-reaching and deeper than losing a child. My heart and prayers go out to you at this most difficult time.

We've known Dave for a long time, as he and our son, Dan, have been good friends for years. What a dear young man!

A few years back he came to our Aston home to help out with a plumbing problem. While he was working, I told him a story about a woman at Fair Acres Geriatric Center, whom I had met while being a Eucharistic Minister. She said she had been receiving messages from the Holy Spirit since she was a litle girl. She proceeded to tell me things about myself and my children that she couldn't possibly have known. She gave me a small bottle of Lourdes Water to take home with me, because she was certain I was supposed to bless a kitten with it. I told her I didn't have any cats, but she was insistent. When I left her room and puched the button for the elevator, the doors opened, and inside was a woman with a kitten in a small carrier. She saw the bottle of holy water in my hand and said, "Oh, Miss, is that holy water? Would you please bless my kitten?" We proceeded to talk for 20 minutes, after which she said, "You don't know how much I needed to talk to someone today. I think God sent you to me."

When Dave heard my story, he asked if I would do him a favor. I said, "Sure!" Then he said, "Would you mind if I took some of that holy water home to bless my cats?"

Well, from that moment on I a had a special afffection for the young man who had a soft spot in his heart for animals and a quiet faith in the power of God. He has taken those qualities with him on his journey, and I know that God will bless him for that and for everything that made him so loved by his family and loyal friends.

Our family will miss Dave so much, even though we didn't seem him as often as Dan did in recent years. We thank him for the good friend he has always been to our son, and we promise that he and all those who love and miss him will forever be in our thoughts and prayers.

Love,

Pat and Peter Snow
