1930-2018 Donald E. Roeder, Sr., 88 of Glenolden, PA, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday May 12, 2018. Born in Catawissa, PA, he was the youngest of 6, to the late Raymond and Carrie (Adams) Roeder. Don was a resident of Glenolden for the past 55 yrs. coming from Catawissa. He served during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. While his profession was primarily a window cleaner for Dawn Window Cleaners, his greatest joy was carpentry work performed at J.E. Mitchell Lumber Co. Predeceased by his granddaughter, Jessica Roeder, and daughter-in-law, Susan Roeder. Survived by his wife: Barbara (Utt) Roeder, daughter, Linda Conover (James) and son, Donald E. Roeder,Jr., 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
