Frances Cook Obituary

1945-2015 Frances A. Cook “Fran”, age 69, on March 16, 2015 of Aston, Fran entered into Heaven peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Of the many organizations Fran was associated with, Thresholds of Delaware County and Aid for Friends were her most important. Daughter of the late Bernard & Chassia Malone, sister of the late Bernard Malone, Jr. Survivors: Loving wife of George Cook, Jr. Loving mother of David (Cheri) Cook, Jennifer (David) Cardamone, Christopher (Amy) Cook. Also survived by her grandchildren Brittany, Ciara, Jaden, Ethan, Alexa, Benjamin, Mason, Cole , Isabella,& Addison. Sister of Connie Lavallee, Peggy Malone, Cassie Krajewski, Patricia Kelly, Michael Malone, Thomas Malone, Elizabeth Malone and her many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Fri. 10-11:15 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 3255 Concord Road Aston. Funeral Mass: 11:30 AM Interment: Private Donations: In lieu of flowers, donations in Fran’s name can be made to Thresholds of Delaware County P.O. Box 114 Thornton, Pa. 19373. Fran was truly a treasure to have known and worked with. From first meeting her when she worked at the Franklin Mint and her activities with Thresholds, it was clear she was dedicated to improving the lives of others. My condolences on her passing. Fran was a sweet, sweet lady.
