Janet Datillo Obituary

Janet Marie Datillo passed away peacefully on Saturday May 20 2023, at Accent Hospice at Christiana Hospital. Janet was born in Chester, PA to the late Fredrick and Beatrice (Misero) Datillo. She worked for Aston Presbyterian Learning Center for 28 years caring for children. Janet was an avid sports fan. What she most loved was spending time with family and summers at the beach in Wildwood Crest, NJ. She is survived by her lifelong partner, Rose Marie Riccardi; a niece whom they raised, Danielle (Jeremy) Farenski; 3 great- nephews: Jace, Braeden and Gavin; a great-great niece, Sophia; a fur niece, Fiona; sister-in-law, Cheryl Datillo; nephews, Michael of Wilmington and Mark (Ana) of Fort Worth, TX; niece Denise of Wilmington; great-nieces: Ansleigh, Madison and Madie; great-nephews: Trae, Chandler and Logan; and niece, Dawn Watanabe. Janet was predeceased in death by her parents and a brother, Fred. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Janet's name to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation or Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Such a beautiful,caring lady!
My sons Mike and Matt adored her at Aston Presb!They still remember her and her love of the Flyers!!!
We still talk about her and what a great influence she was on our boys!
God bless her and keep her in his loving arms!
