John Wagner Obituary

John E. Wagner, born June 4th, 1935, passed away on Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at Prospect Park Nursing Home. John served 12 years in the Army and did a tour in Vietnam. John worked as a machinist at Westinghouse. He had many hobbies including bowling, leather work, geology, and history. John leaves behind his sister Marlene Lesher (Wagner) Henry, sister Vale Middleton (Wagner), sister Dale Kratochwill (Wagner) Michael, niece Karen Bedward (Middleton) who he was like a father to, great niece Amber Middleton and great nephew Jonathan Bedward who he was like a grandfather to. He also leaves 13 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Alkana Wagner, his mother Minnie Wagner (Yarnell), his brother Neal Wagner, his sister Elizabeth Glessner (Wagner), and his brother Dee E. Wagner. Visitation will be at Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, Norwood, PA 19074 on Saturday March 26th at 10 am, Funeral Service will be held at 11 am. Burial will be at Edgewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to https://www.fisherhouse.org/ in his name.
