I remember John from way back when he worked at the body shop. It wasn't one shop, but a small enclave of businesses owned by lifelong friends that grew up together in the "Meadows" of Philadelphia. John worked for Pete Damanskis for a time at his body shop, then spent years working for "Campy" right across the yard. My dad owned a machine shop there, and I grew up in that environment. It went far past just business and was more like family. Besides the day to day of everyone helping each other, all of the businesses there would close for two weeks for hunting season and we would all head to Sullivan County Pa to Shadduck's farm. Those were good times, and every once in a while, someone actually got a deer. I remember those days like yesterday, and John (Puddin) was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor. Those days may be long gone, but the memories are not. Rest in peace John.

Sorry to hear of the lost of our neighbor who helped everyone he could and helped me removed snow with his snow blower without fanfare in the middle of the night. We collaborated on cleaning debri in front of our houses and yard work. He and the family made our transition into the neighborhood friendly as he talked about the love of his animals. He will be missed in many ways. Many prayers and our condolences to Pam and family.
