Margaret A. Hoogendoorn, 67 Of Lansdowne, PA Margaret A. (nee Shields) Hoogendoorn, died December 25, 2011 at her residence. She was 67. Born in Philadelphia, she was raised in Ireland, England, where she was educated and the Main Line. She was a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School. She had lived in Lansdowne the past 10 years. Margaret was a devoted grandmother who was always smiling, happy and an upbeat person. She enjoyed reading classic books, had an interest in old movies and had a fondness for horses and horseback riding. She was pre-deceased by her parents James and May (nee Garrity) Shields and her brother Dennis Joseph Shields. Survivors: Sons Eric (Lisa) and Errol (Molly) Hoogendoorn; grandchildren Amber, Errol and Tara Hoogendoorn. Funeral Mass Friday at 10 AM at St. Philomena Church, Baltimore & Highland Aves., Lansdowne, PA 19050. Calling: Family and friends may visit in the church from 9 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
