i am so sorry to hear about your husband. i don't even know what to say. i didn't even know he died but this whole school year you were an angel mrs maholick. i'm sure he was a good guy because he was married to YOU....the lady that was my favorite teacher the whole school year even when she was battling with financial issues three kids and a dead husband. ur the best mrs maholick and i'm so sorry this had to happen to you and your family. thank you so much for being such a wonderful role model in my life. my love and prayers are with you

Oh...Karen! I am so very sorry to read of Mark's passing. It was quite a shock, as I didn't even know he had been ill! I was just about to wish him a happy birthday on Facebook, scrolled down to see some of the messages, and was stunned! I am speechless. I often admired you, while we got to know each other as we went through the process of selling your home, as a model family with so much love for each other and those you came in contact with.Mark is truly special! Words will never express how truly sorry I am.Please send my love to your beautiful and amazing children. And, of course, my love goes out to you as well!Joanne and I will keep you all in our prayers.

I'm deeply saddened to learn of Mark's passing. I had many found memories of him at East Hills and Freedom High. I remember in 7th grade how gracious he was when he won at History Day with his awesome JFK project. We spent quite a few lazy summer nights watching In Living Color at his house, laughing until until we cried. I regret losing touch as I've always cherished our time together. Mark was one of the most honest and genuine people I've ever had the privledge of knowing. Rest in peace old friend.
