Martha Worrell Obituary

Martha "Tootsie" Worrell (Nee Petrillo), 85, of Lewes DE (formerly of Chester, PA) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 2nd 2017. Marty was born in Chester, PA, the daughter of the late Domenic and Mary Petrillo. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Antoinette. Marty was a graduate of Chester High School. She spent most of her life as a homemaker raising her two children then worked for the City of Chester as an administrative assistant for over 20 years before retiring. Marty enjoyed roller skating and bowling in her younger years followed by trips to the casinos and being an avid Phillies, Eagles and Flyers fan. She truly enjoyed retirement to her house in Lewes, Delaware with her loving husband Bob spending 59 years of marriage together. In addition to her husband, she leaves to cherish her memory her two children Robert (Cheryl), and Deb (Jeff) Wasileski of Camp Hill, PA. "Grammy" loved her grandchildren, Robby, Joshua, Nick and Maya and will be remembered as a Grand Mom who "lit up" every time she visited them. The family would like to thank the team of caregivers from CELTIC Hospice and Country Meadows for the kind and gentle care provided during this difficult time. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation in Marty's memory to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, Ste. 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422 or online at www.cancer.org.
