Michael Fiedler Obituary
He was a longtime resident of the Westbrook Park section of Clifton Heights. Mr. Fiedler was born in Philadelphia to the late Arthur and Dorothy Fiedler. He was a 1968 graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School. Mr. Fiedler was a self-employed master woodcrafter and artist of exotic woods.
He enjoyed the shore and surf fishing at his second home on Fenwick Island. Mr. Fiedler had a great sense of humor and was a big practical joker. He also was a nature lover and a loving father, grandfather and brother.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Lorraine Ciarrocchi Fiedler, who passed away in 2002, nine years ago to the day.
Survivors: His loving children, Melissa (Brian) Finnegan, Michael T. Fiedler, Jonathan Fiedler, Nessa Rapone and Gabriel Wondrausch; grandchildren, Ava and Quinn Finnegan; sisters, Dottie (Tom) Ford and Maryanne (John) Dooner; brothers, Bruddy (Anne) Fiedler, John Fiedler and Joey (Crystal) Fiedler; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday at St Mark Lutheran Church, 436 N. Oak Ave., Clifton Heights.
Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Interment: Private.

MIke was one of my best friends from high school and off and on till the end. If mike was your friend u had one of the best and loyalty was never an issue. It was a privilege and honor to say that mike was one of my oldest and dearest friends. He always made me laugh and lm still laughing.

It's nice to be reminded of those that have gone on ahead. As I read my remarks originally stated there's not much more to be added. Mike would be about 69 now, I'm hitting 70. All I can say is, "Mike, keep a Rolling Rock on ice for me, I may not be long". Tk

I recently got together with friends in Drexel Hill after the passing of one of our close friends. At that time I was informed of Michael's passing and was totally shocked. He was such a wonderful guy and missed his Lorraine so much. Together, they lit up the faces of eveyone who had the opportunity to be in their presence.
He will be missed by all who knew this amazing guy.

I peruse the Delco obits from time to time and was stunned and saddened at seeing Mike's listing. I've knew Mike since Bonner days, Chez Vous, dating Sharon Hill/Collingdale girls and shooting the bull over beers on occasion. The last time we crossed trails was the Dave Mason concert in Media a few years back. He enjoyed a good laugh, did a decent stomp and was always a true pleasure to bump into... My deepest regards. I don't think a love ever shone so brightly as that between Michael & Lorraine. We are all fortunate to have been touched by their sweetness and lightened by their delightful humor.

Mike's kindness, good humor, and love of people was a rare gift. He touched so many lives. I will never forget his radiant smile and caring manner. I was proud to call him my friend. He and Lorraine were truly beautiful people.
