Michele Brousseau Obituary

Michele J. Brousseau, 39, of Linwood passed away on Thursday, April 13th at Crozer Chester Medical Center. She was raised and educated in Lower Chichester where she was a graduate of Chichester High School with the class of 1995. She then went on to earn a BSN in Nursing from Widener University where she was also enrolled in the Nursing Honor Society. Michele worked as a nurse in several area hospitals throughout her career. She was a long-time member of Linwood United Methodist Church. She was an EMT and Firefighter with the Trainer Fire House. She was a fan of NASCAR and enjoyed traveling, especially vacations in Nantucket.
She was predeceased by her father, James Brousseau; maternal grandparents, James and Louise Koch; paternal grandparents, Jack and Mary Hoffman. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Brousseau; Aunt, Mary L. Koch; step-mother, Brenda Brousseau; sister, Jessica Brousseau; many other extended family members.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 19th at 11am at the Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home 1459 Market St. Linwood, PA. Friends and family are invited to call from 10am-11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lawn Croft Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to Linwood United Methodist Church or to the Epilepsy Foundation 919 Walnut St. Suite 700 Philadelphia, PA 19107.
