Morris R. Day

Morris R. "Pud" Day, 76 Morris R. "Pud" Day, 76, passed peacefully at his home on March 26, 2012 surrounded by family and friends. He was the son of the late Maurice and Ethel Day. Morris was born and raised in the Delaware County area where he was employed by J D Cage, Blue Line and Quaker City as a truck driver. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and hosting family barbecues. He was pre-deceased by 2 daughters Sherry Smith and Alva Smith and 2 brothers Robert Day Sr. and James Day. Survivors: He leaves to remember him in love his wife Margaret Day; children Linda Day, Ethel Day-Smith (Mailion), Erwin Day (Elaine), Maurice Day (Crystal), Debra Maxwell (Earl), Cory Day and William Day; siblings Donald Day (Sandra), Gilbert Johnson, Constance Thompson and Ann Scott (Herbie); 26 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 3 special grandchildren whom he raised Carla Day, Cherron Day-Alexander and Keyon Day; a host of other relatives and friends.
