Nancy Parkinson Obituary

Nancy (nee Marley) Parkinson, 85 Longtime Folcroft Resident Nancy (nee Marley) Parkinson, lived to the age of 85 and passed away on February 11, 2011. Parishioner of St. Gabriel Church for over 55 years and was an avid camper. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas O., her daughter Elizabeth; great-granddaughter Alyssa Parkinson. Survivors: Devoted mother of Thomas Parkinson, Kathleen Blythe and Nancy Salvo; dear sister of John & William Graham; also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation/Service: Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral on Friday after 8:30 AM at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood followed by a Funeral Mass at `10 AM in the Church of St. Gabriel, Mohawk Ave., Norwood. Friends may call at Cavanagh's Thursday eve 7 to 9 PM Burial: Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery Contributions: Dystonia Medical Research Foundation, 1 E. Wacker Dr., Ste. 2810, Chicago, IL 60601.

Nan was a very special woman, She was the great grandmother to my two children and instilled in them so many wonderful traits. I loved her like she was my own grandmother and I will miss her very much.
