1997-2015 Rahmir Robert Pernsley, age 18, known affectionately as “Roddy” to his family and friends, passed away on October 30, 2015 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Born in Chester, PA on April 19, 1997, Rahmir enjoyed boxing, basketball and football. He loved being around his family and friends. Rahmir leaves to cherish his precious memory: his parents Patrick R. Pernsley and Tasha (Carney) Pernsley, brothers Patrick, Perry, Rasheed, Tahmir Pernsley, sisters NaShonah, Shaterah Victoria Naylor, grandparents Linda Hooks Hudson & George Hudson, a special friend Sa’Keera Lewis, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. Rahmir was preceded in death by his grandparents Victoria D. Pernsley, Harry B. Carney, Perry Evans, great grandparents Elsie D. Thomas Pernsley, John Hooks, William R. Pernsley, Sallie Mae Hooks. Services will be held on Monday, Nov. 9th at St. Luke Community Christian Church, 4th St. and Central Ave., Chester, Pa. Visitation 9 a.m.- 11 a.m., Service 11 a.m. Int.: Eden Cemetery.
