I met Ralph in December 2016 at Naamans Creek Nursing Home where we were both patients. He helped me get through that dark period of my life. He introduced me to both his son and grandson, and pointed out his daughter. He would roll himself down to visit most afternoons and evenings, Even when he himself was obviously in pain, he would come and visit. I gave him my phone number when I was sent to an unknown situation at my home. I thought I would be homeless before now, but I have until January 2018. I was in a rush to get home to my cats. I spent my first months home apprising my own situation, and called Naamans Creek around March and was told Ralph was no longer there. I prayed he was doing better and had hoped to hear from him. He reminded me much of my grandfather when we talked at night. He was fascinated with my love of cars and music, and the Eagles. He would talk of his kids, his motorcycle, his cars and his dog. We would both flirt with several of the Nurses there during our rehab together. I wish you well on your journey Ralph.

I remember Ralph from the old days in Chester. We both went to 301 North Broad Street to take a physical for the army for the draft in 64. Ralph was a real nice guy, my condolences to his family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I am the Bereavement Coordinator for Taylor Hospice. After your mom passed away, I would occasionally check in on your dad to see how he was holding up. He was always such a nice man to talk too! I enjoy all of our conversations. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time!

I just lost my best friend but I know that he is not suffering any longer and the pain is gone. I'm glad that he is with Carol. I will miss him terribly but I will remember and never forget all of the good times that Anzio and I had!

Ralph was a good friend. He would stop on his motorcycle and tell us how much he missed the old neighborhood. He would tell us to keep up the good work on how the porch was decorated and he looked forward to how we would change it with the seasons. He fought a good fight for a long time and now he is at peace with Carol. Donna & John Barbosa

Ralph was a good friend. I remember him stopping by to tell us how much he missed the old neighborhood. He would pull up on his bike and say keep up the good work can't wait to see how we would decorate the porch next. He fought a good fight for a long time and now is at peace - with Carol. He will be missed. John & Donna Barbosa
