Ralph Pileggi

Ralph Pileggi Jr., 77 Of Glen Mills, Pennsylvania Ralph Pileggi Jr., 77, died peacefully on April 13, 2012. Ralph, the son of Raphael and Elizabeth (Izzi), was born and raised in Chester. He graduated from Chester High School in 1952, and two years later married his junior high school sweetheart, Mary Deans Tweltridge. In 1966 they built a home together in Concord Township where they raised their three daughters and two sons, and resided for more than 45 years. Ralph attended St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Glen Mills. He worked as a steamfitter for the Philadelphia Electric Company ( PECO ) for many years before his retirement. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his pithy one-liners, his charisma, and his big heart. Survivors: His children Mairi Pileggi (Dominique Richard) of Inverness, CA, Janice England (David) of Newtown Square, and Joanne (Jody) Pinckney, Ralph Pileggi III (Beth) and Robert (Christie) of West Chester, PA; his 3 sisters Betty Jane Snell, Ann Shinn and Mary Kozlowski; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Monday from 8:30 to 10 AM at Nolan - Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd., 5980 Chichester Avenue, Aston. Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills. Burial: Birmingham - Lafayette Cemetery, Birmingham Township. Contributions: Penn State Dance Marathon to support children with cancer.
