Richard Kasarda Obituary

Richard A. " Richie " Kasarda, 64 Richard A. "Richie" Kasarda, 64, died on Monday, May 28, 2012 at his home in Aston, surrounded by his loving wife and son. Mr. Kasarda was born in Trenton, NJ and raised in Hazleton, Luzerne County. He had graduated from Hazleton High School, and then went on to Penn State University, graduating from PSU with an Associates Degree. He served our country in the United States Navy during Vietnam. Richard was employed by A.B. Sciex Inc., in the capacity of a Field Service Specialist in the pharmaceutical industry; traveling the United States. Mr. Kasarda was a member of the American Legion Post 926 in Aston. He was the son of the late Anthony V. Kasarda and the brother of the late Anthony Kasarda. Survivors: His devoted and loving wife of 43 years Mary V. (nee Marnell); his son Richard P. Kasarda (Heather) of Allentown; also surviving are his mother Adeline (Pinelli) Kasarda; his sister Frances Cairone, M.D. (Joseph); and his brother Michael Kasarda. Memorial Service Friday at 2 PM at Nolan - Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd., 5980 Chichester Avenue, Aston. Inurnment Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills. Visitation Friday from 1 to - 2 PM at the Funeral Home. Contributions: American Legion Post 926, 3220 Concord Road, Aston, PA 19014 would be appreciated. Online Condolences: www.nolanfidale.com.
