Robert Joseph Bartholf

Robert Joseph Bartholf, age 76 Robert Joseph Bartholf, age 76, of West Grove, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. He was the husband of Loretta Land Bartholf, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage. Born in Chester and raised in Upland, PA, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Mary Savinski Bartholf. He was a Sales Consultant with the American Transfer Company, Pennsauken, NJ, and retired in 2004. Bob was a 1954 graduate of Ridley Park High School. He attended the Pennsylvania Military College and served in the United States Marine Corps. from 1955 until June 1959. He was an avid and dedicated "Pigeon Racing" competitor with Lenox Park and Newark Pigeon Club of the Delaware Valley. He also loved all types of hunting. Survivors: In addition to his wife Loretta, he is survived by two sons, Michael Bartholf and his wife Tammy of DeSoto, MO, Brian Bartholf and his wife Dawn of Ridgeland, SC; one daughter, Lisa Young and her husband Troy of Littleton, CO; one brother, Charles Bartholf of Chambersburg, PA, and seven grandchildren, Megan Bartholf, Devon Bartholf, Maria Bartholf, Brian Bartholf, Jr., Drake Young, Emma Young, and Grant Young. Memorial Mass: will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 4, 2013, at the Assumption BVM Church, 300 State Road, West Grove, PA. Burial: will be at 3:00 PM, Thursday, at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Anvil, PA.
