Aunt Shirley, Michael, John & Maureen,
I was saddened when my brother Steve called to tell me about the death of Uncle Bobby. I remember your husband and your dad as a good man and a good Marine. I was excited when I told him about my plans to go into the Army and I remember he was genuinely happy for me. His service to our country during a very difficult time will never be forgotten and should always be appreciated.
Uncle Bobby had a lot of love and respect for his brothers and sisters. He called my mom "Gerl" short for Geraldine. They all had some good times laughing and telling stories about playing on Johnson Street and taking lunch to Grandpop down at the Sun Shipyard. Chester was really alive and the streets were filled with kids during those years right after the war.
I miss my Duffy family. Please pray for me and I will keep you each in my prayers, as well.
Love, Chuckie (Mary Jo, David & Kathryn)

Aunt Shirley - I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Bobby will be missed by family and friends! Even though I haven't seen him much these past few years, when I did, he always had a smile on his face - no matter how much pain he was in. Rest in peace Uncle Bob!!!
