Robert Weinrich Obituary

Robert L. "Bucky" Weinrich, a well known and respected businessman, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, April 30, 2014 at his residence with his loving family at his side at the age of 76.
A resident of Newtown Square, he owned and operated the Weinrich Bakery of Newtown Square since 1961 taking over from his father who started the bakery in Philadelphia in 1924. He was a member of SS. Simon and Jude Roman Catholic Church of Newtown Square, The Rotary Club of Newtown Square and The Newtown Business Association. His favorite hobbies were automobiles, motorcycles, steam engines and tennis. He was an accomplished musician playing piano and trumpet.
Born in Philadelphia on August 14, 1937, he was the son of the late Ludwig and Sophie (Buss) Weinrich
Surviving is loving wife Marlene (Fonock) Weinrich; son, Robert L. Weinrich and his wife Romona, of W. Brandywine; daughters: Cynthia Weinrich of Newtown Square and Lauren Weinrich and fiancé Roman Slivinsky, of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Robert III and Kristina; brothers-in-law: Ronald Fonock, and his wife Marilyn, of Kimberton and Bruce Bednar, husband of the late Donna (Fonock) Bednar; sisters-in-law, Patricia Pasquale, and her husband Donald, of Valley Forge; Joan F. Townsend, of King of Prussia; Bridget Maruszczak, and her husband Judge William, of Wayne; and many nieces and nephews.
Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Union Ave. Bridgeport. Monsignor Dr. Ronald Popivckak, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, King of Prussia. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 10:15 a.m. at the church.
