Ronald Register Obituary

1933-2016 Ronald Evan Register, 82, of Media, passed away suddenly on January 5, 2016. Born in 1933 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Wilford E. and Dorothy (nee Moore) Register. Ronald served honorably in the US Army. He was a graduate of Temple University and worked as a Purchasing Manager with Ore-Ida Foods and Steak-umm. Ronald was a dedicated volunteer for Riddle Memorial Hospital since 2008. Ronald was the beloved husband of Amelia (nee Fiorda); the loving father of Robert (Sharon), James, and Kenneth (Tracy); and the grandfather of Andrew, Allison, Katie, Patrick, Marissa, Michael, and Chris; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 7:00-9:00 PM Friday, January 8, 2016 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, and 9:30-10:30 AM Saturday at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N Providence Rd, Media, PA 19063, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars, 406 West 34th Street, Kansas City, MO 64111.
