What a wonderful Lady Sarah was! A genuinely kind, thoughtful, Christian woman, who lived her life to the fullest. A true blessing to so many people.... "We remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 1:3
May the God of Hope and Comfort be with your family at this time of loss.

Hats off to Sarah.
Sarah had a profound influence on my career. I worked with the Wildlife Division at DNR and had the opportunity to spend personal time with her during a drive back to Baltimore during a snow storm. The hours flew as we discussed the state of conservation and natural resource management both in the state and within the US. Her passion for Maryland´s natural resources came through and inspired me for my entire career. From that conversation grew a real friendship that not only helped me to grow within DNR but also advanced my participation in AFWA, the NGO community and International work with the Nuffield Farming Scholars based in AU. We remained close and was there when I needed her. Thanks Sarah for taking the time to talk, your inspiration contributed to making me a better professional in natural resource management.

So Sad. I knew Sarah from the time we were both young environmentalists working for the Department of Natural Resources. A wise and compassionate woman who will be missed!

There is not enough room here to describe Sarah´s fine qualities as a professional and a human being. Most important of all, she behaved with dignity and class, treating people with kindness and respect. My sympathy and best wishes to her family.
