Shirley McIntyre Obituary

Shirley E. McIntyre was born in Philadelphia in 1935. She grew up in Chester where she met the love of her life, Ken McIntyre, at Chester High School in 1952. They were married in October 1958. The loving mother raised 3 children - Scott (Shari), Lee McCarthy (Bob) and Dan (predeceased). She was a devoted grandmother of five: Andy (Erin), Michael (Erin) McIntyre, Danine, Casey and Kyle McCarthy. She is also survived by her brother, Bob (Sandy) and nieces, Sherry and Susan. She was loved by all including her pets, Joey and Sweetie, and will be greatly missed. At Shirley’s request there will be no services. So sorry to hear this. Mrs. McIntyre (as I called her) was so welcoming to me and Andre. It has been so long since I have seen the whole family. I pray that she is reunited with Dan now and that the rest of the family can find peace and smile when looking at past pictures.

So many memories from Princeton Rd to Woodand Dr...the time my Dad and Mr Mac took all us kids to the Exton Drive in and it was for a very graffiti military film and when the moms found out they were furious...to every Christmas Day at there house or ours...to her be the go to mom when one of us got sick...Pennypackers...sleepovers...her fluffy puppies...this really hurts my heart...at least she is now in Heaven with her adored Son...I am so very sorry for your loss Mr Mac...Scottie and Lee...miss you all
