Dear Pop,
It hurts knowing that I will never again hear your laugh, see your smile, or be embraced by your comforting hug. I only take comfort knowing that you are forever watching over me. You will be there when I walk down the aisle to Matt next year. You will be there, smiling down, when he and I welcome our first child. You will be there, probably laughing at me, when that child ends up being as stubborn as me. Though it hurts me deeply that these are events that will take place without you there physically I know that you would never really miss those things. I will forever live my life trying to be the person you have expected me to become. Strong, hard working, caring, kind, giving, and above all, loving. I know this is what you expect because these are traits you embodied. I know that the pain of losing you will never really disappear, as you were a huge influence in my life, but memories ease it just a little bit. I am glad we got to spend as much time on this Earth together as we did…I am one of the lucky ones. I promise to remind my baby sisters, especially Kassi, of how great you are. I love you and miss you with all my heart and that will never change.
Love Always,
Brittany Marie
PS. I was never afraid to hug you.

Mrs. Dugent and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have known you since I was young and we all lived in Colwyn, all the good times and funny stories being told while sitting around Mrs. Broderick's kitchen table. What great memories to hold on too. Mr. Dugent was an extremely thoughtful and nice man. My thoughts and prayers to all of you during this difficult time.

I feel so honored to have had a chance to know the Dugent family. Seeing how Vince and Peg have raised such a wonderful loving family. I feel for all of you that will somehow continue the legacy your Dad or Pop has given to you. He was your hero and to many a truely good friend or mentor. God has gained an important Angel. Love and hugs to all of you and may you feel some comfort in all the love surounding you at this time.

Pop, you were a truly wonderful person. Everyone always believes when they lose someone special that they didn't get enough time and that the person was taken too soon and you are no exception. When I think about the future it doesn't feel whole now that you won't be there. I have so many great memories of you, like the first time you held Logan and how Gigi could never get Logan to give her a hug and kiss good bye but you always got one, you playing cars with Logan at big breakfast and teaching him to put the cars on the lazy Susan. I promise that Logan will grow up knowing what an incredible man his great grandfather was. You will always be in out hearts. With all our love Your little L.T and Laura Lou Bug

To the whole Dugent family, I remember Mr. Dugent as a warm, caring wonderful man. It is a huge loss for all of the people who knew him, but as least now, he is at rest. I will keep all of you in my daily prayers, and please find comfort in each other and keep all the wonderful memories of Vince alive by talking about silly, funny times. Love to you all?
