Walt and his sisters...Phyllis, Dottie and Mary.
Florence Ruhl
December 28, 2011
I was Walter's caregiver the last four months of his life. He had such a great sense of humor and he was such a kind and sweet gentleman. He said Thank You every time I did something for him. It was such an honor for him when the Veterans came to my home and had a "pinning Ceremony" and thanked him for his service to this Country. The Minister from his church came with the choir he used to sing in and sang all his favorite songs with him. He was so happy when Phyllis came to my home and made Philly Cheese Steak Sandwiches for him and when his sisters cooked and ate Thanksgiving Dinner with him. He was so loved...and I know how much he will be missed. I'll never forget him...Now he is shinning down on all of us.
