DELAWARE — Cheryl "Flynn" Cannon, age 54, of Delaware, passed away, January 7, 2019. She was born Oct. 22, 1964 in Corvallis, Oregon to William N Cannon, Jr. and Stephanie (Swartzel) Cannon.
Flynn was a graduate of the Six Pence School. She was active in the Women's Bible Study, was a Vacation Bible School participant, and had played in the bell choir. Flynn enjoyed attending meals throughout the community and was faithful in her attendance at all of the Delaware festivals, First Friday's, and fairs. She was a longtime volunteer checking on a bluebird nest box trail and keeping meticulous records on what she saw. She was a lover of cats. Flynn's favorite place on earth was Crater Lake, Oregon.
Flynn is survived by her father; William Cannon, Jr and step-mother, Barbara Cannon of Delaware; sisters, Susan Cannon and Diane Cannon both of Columbus; and step-sister, Nancy Jo Wycoff of Delaware. The Cannon family would like to extend a special thanks to Nikki Hogarth.
A graveside service for Flynn will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery on January 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Following the service a luncheon will be held at the William Street United Methodist Church.
Those wishing to make a memorial contribution in Flynn's memory are asked to consider the William St. United Methodist Church.

Flynn and I had one thing in common. The Ohio State University. We showed each other our new Ohio State garb. One day she gave me an Ohio State necklace and I have it hanging on the mirror in our car along with a heart she gave me. This is a wonderful memory. Thank you Flynn.

Cheryl "Flynn" was my cousin. I'm sad to say I hadn't seen her or either of her Sisters in many years. Very saddened to hear of this loss. My heart goes out to all of the family and friends

Flynn I knew u from Mary Rose in Delaware Ohio. I was her roommate when I was PREGNANT with my now 6 yr old son. I send my condolences to your family and friends close to u ..Heavenly father please help Flynn's family and close friends thru this grief process.In Jesus name amen. I wish I could have known her more thru Mary Rose.. She had her friends she trusted more so I didn't get too close due to wanting to help her relax more. .I also had ALOT of social anxiety and hard time around people ..Flynn will be at total peace in heaven with Jesus. I knew Flynn through Mary Rose a dear friend of hers. I used to live with Mary and saw Flynn at many Delaware community meals , when I lived there. I am in Columbus Ohio now but when I was pregnant with my now 6 yr old son, Flynn picked out a few items for my baby..Sad to hear the news but I am glad to know she went to church with Mary Rose and used to go to the movies ALOT with Mary. Flynn someday we will meet in heaven ..Your safe with JESUS now.. Bless and regards to all your family and friends grieving over u being gone..prayers for u all.
