MARENGO — Dallas Turner Hubbard Sr., age 58, of Marengo, OH passed away unexpectedly early Christmas morning, 12-25-21. Dallas was born August 9, 1963 to Carl and Phyllis Hubbard of Marengo, OH.
Dallas was a 12-year veteran of The United States Marine Corps, which he made Sergeant and served proudly. He graduated from Big Walnut High School in 1981, where he ran track and cross country. Dallas enjoyed golfing, playing any kind of card game, geocaching, watching his favorite football teams, The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Dallas Cowboys.
Dallas was employed by THK in Hebron, OH as a Quality Engineer.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Carl "Wimpy" and Phyllis "Pat" Hubbard; 7 children, Tyler (Tori) Hubbard of Oconto, WI, Dallas (Krystn) Hubbard, Jr. of Algoma, WI, Corey Hubbard of Algoma, WI, Hanna Hubbard, Adam Hubbard, Heather Hubbard all of Sturgeon Bay, WI and Nicole (Craig) Collins of Jacksonville, NC; 4 grandchildren; "two time" brother, Bob (Wilma) Hubbard of Cardington, OH; brothers, Louis (Pyong) Sparks of Goldsboro, NC, Roy (Tammy) Hubbard of Marengo, OH and Ronald Patrick Hubbard of Chesterville, OH; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 N. State Route 61 (at S.R. 3/36), Sunbury, where the Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Pastor Larry DeWitt officiating. Interment to follow at Galena Cemetery.
