GALENA — David L. Debolt, age 76, of Galena, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at St. Ann's Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Member of Galena United Methodist Church for 65 years. A lifelong farmer, David was a member of the Delaware County Farm Bureau and Top B's Farm Bureau Council. Awarded Delaware County Farm Family of the Year, 1992.
Preceded in death by parents, Clarence L. and Martha N. (Fuller) Debolt; brother-in-laws, Kent Kintner and Paul Jackson; 2 infant sons. Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Karen Kintner Debolt; devoted son, David Bradley (Julie) Debolt of Galena; granddaughter, Ava; constant companion, Greta; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Galena United Methodist Church, 2777 Sunbury Road, Galena, OH 43021 where Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Pastor Jason Young officiating. Interment to follow at Galena Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Galena UMC Women or the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, Team John, 2215 Citygate Drive, Suite A, Columbus, OH 43219 in David's memory.
