On the morning of Friday, December 27th, 2024, Janet Mary (Verbelia) Hauersperger, 84, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side at the Sarah Moore Nursing Home in Delaware, Ohio. Janet was born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania on March 10, 1940, to Walter and Verna Verbelia.
She married her husband, John Matthew Hauersperger, on October 22, 1960, in Wickliffe, Ohio. They spent 48 years of marriage together before his untimely passing in 2008. Janet spent her time caring for and raising her family while living in multiple states throughout the years. After relocating to Delaware in 1981, she became the Office Manager at Asbury United Methodist Church. She loved working at the church and interacting with the people there. She retired in the early 2000s so she could spend more time with her family, her dogs, and golfing. She will be remembered for her incredibly beautiful and kind soul. To know her, was to love her.
She is survived by her children, Kelli (Bob) Williamson, Lance (Pond) Hauersperger, Grant Hauersperger, Jeffrey Hauersperger, and Veronica "Ronni" (Scott) Reed; her grandchildren, Cindy, Jennifer, Bobby, Nathan, Graham, Jessica, Josh, Cody, Savannah, Jillian, and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her son, Johnny; her granddaughter, Alyssa; her brother, Bob, and many other loved ones.
Janet will be placed to rest in Oak Grove Cemetery next to her husband, John. There will be a Celebration of Life scheduled at a later date. The family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Online condolences can be made at www.robinsonfuneralhomeinc.com.
