DELAWARE — Judith "Judy" Jeanene Kuhn, age 78, of Delaware, died unexpectedly Monday, September 6, 2021 at Monarch Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marysville.
A switchboard operator her entire career, she retired from the Smith Clinic in Delaware and was a former operator at Grady Memorial Hospital. She was a founding member of Central Community Baptist Church in Waldo. Judy was a bowler and participated in women's leagues at Delaware Lanes for many years. Above all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister.
She was born April 9, 1943 inSpringfield, Ohio and was preceded in death by her father, John Bartram and her mother and step-father, Frances C. and Lee Russell; her sister, Juanita Crouch; a niece, Rhonda Combs; and brothers-in-law, Terry Kuhn and Rick Omeroid.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard L. Kuhn, whom she married April 7, 1966 in Marysville; her sons, Fred (Shannon) Kuhn of Indianapolis and Chris Kuhn of Cardington; her grandchildren, Jon, Josh, Jason and Chris, Jr.; a great-grandson, Malaki; her brothers, Jim (Billie) Bartram of Michigan and Jerry (Regina) Bartram of Springfield; her in-laws, Billy (Mary) Kuhn, Fred Kuhn, Mike (Norma) Kuhn, Karen Omeroid, Charles (Patience) Kuhn and Martha Clinton; a niece, Roxanne Combs; her nephews, Jay Bartram, Joel Bartram and Randy Crouch; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at Underwood Funeral Home in Marysville. At the conclusion of the visitation, a funeral procession will form and proceed to Union Township Cemetery in Milford Center for a 2 p.m. graveside service.
