OSTRANDER — Keith Andrew Oman, age 59, of Ostrander, died Sunday, October 3, 2021.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator with the Union County Engineer's Department where he served for almost 25 years.
A 1980 graduate of Buckeye Valley High School, he was raised on the family farm in Delaware County. He was known for being happiest on the tractor and travels to see lighthouses.
He especially will be remembered for always lending a helping hand and enjoying his canine companions, Lily and Jenny. He was born November 21, 1961 in Delaware, Ohio and was preceded in death by his father, Roger Edward Oman.
He is survived by his mother, Jane Oman of Ostrander; his brothers, Mark Oman of Ostrander and Mike Oman of Richwood; two nephews, Dillon Oman and Isaac (Megan) Oman; and many other relatives and friends, including his soulmate and love of his life, Penny Maguire of Ostrander.
The family will receive friends 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Underwood Funeral Home.
