DELAWARE — Paul E. Kartman Jr. of Delaware, OH passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the age of 75. Paul was born on July 16, 1946, in Miami, Florida, the oldest son of Paul and Teresa "Bunny" (Irving) Kartman.
The family later moved to New Jersey, where Paul and his brothers grew up and where Paul would graduate from Franklin High School in 1964. He would go on to earn his bachelor's degree from Philadelphia College of Bible, and later, a Master's Degree from Colorado.
Paul was involved in outreach ministry in Brownsville, TX for many years. He used a variety of media formats to bring the Gospel to the community, such as projecting films on big screens and displaying messages on billboards. Paul opened his own business called GospelMedia and More, where he combined a Christian Bookstore and educational supply materials. He was an excellent businessman and the example of integrity.
In 1994, Paul married Judy, the love of his life, and expanded his heart to include her 3 children. They were blessed with 19 years together before her passing in 2013. The following year, he chose to retire and relocate to Delaware, OH to be close to family. Over the past 7 years, Paul has been a member of Delaware City Vineyard Church, a mentor to youth at a correctional facility in Marion, and a volunteer at Grace Community School, where he was part of the school family. Paul was known as a thrifty shopper and loved to bless others with the deals he found. Those close to Paul will remember him as a kind and caring.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Bunny Kartman, the love of his life, Judy, and by his brother, David Kartman.
