Rose Anne McMullen, 80, of Delaware passed away early Friday morning, February 27, 2026, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born June 15, 1945, in Columbus to the late John Howard Ditslear and Katherine (Rupert) Ditslear. She attended Miami University before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harding College in Searcy, Arkansas.
Anne taught in Cabot, Arkansas for 6 years and then Buckeye Valley schools in Kilbourne and Ashley for 32 years before retiring in 2002. After retiring from teaching, she was the property manager for McMullen Realty Services before moving to Price Realty where she was property manager and realtor.
A member of Delaware Church of Christ, she loved watching movies, traveling and playing cards with her bridge and euchre groups. She also enjoyed spending time with her Apple Chics – retired teachers from Buckeye Valley.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kimberlee "Kim" Anne McMullen; favorite grandson, Quentin Brosious; brother, John Howard (Teri) Ditslear Jr.; nieces and nephews, Jack (Janet) Ditslear, Nancy (Dan) Oliver, Mark Simons, and Teri (Jim) Kress; great niece, Kristin Whitson.
In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband Keith McMullen and her niece Kimberlee Whitson.
Celebration of life services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Delaware Church of Christ, 71 OH-203, Delaware, OH 43015 with Pastor Jay-ar Miclat officiating. A reception will follow the services.
