Bessie White Obituary
Parksley - Bessie O. White, 88, of Parksley, departed this life on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Shore Health & Rehabilitation Center, Parksley, Virginia.
Born in Parksley, Virginia, Bessie was the daughter of George and Mary White. She was affectionately known as "Olivia" or "Miss White" by her family and friends. Her passion for education and life was manifested in the thirty-nine years that she dedicated to the field of education. Miss White taught in many schools in Accomack County and was also a principal.
Funeral services were held at Adams U. M. Church, on Saturday, May 11, 2019. Interment was in the Hall Cemetery, Parksley, Virginia.
Miss White leaves to cherish her beautiful memories: three children she reared, Teen, Brenda and Oh, three nieces, Henrietta Washington, Doretha West and Lavone West; five nephews, Jerome Davis, Michael Davis, Willie White, Marcus Davis, and LaKendrick Dennis; a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, special friends, and a myriad of friends and Adams U. M. Church family.
Arrangements were made by Cooper & Humbles Funeral Co., Inc., Accomac.
