Clarence Abbott Obituary

Clarence J. Abbott, Jr.

CRISFIELD-Clarence J. Abbott, Jr., 91, of Crisfield and formerly of Bridgeville, Delaware, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home.

Born in Cambridge on December 31, 1922, he was a son of the late Clarence J. and Lola Hoffman Abbott.

A member of the Crisfield Church of God, he enjoyed collecting and sending religious informational materials to mission workers and he also enjoyed ushering in church.

He is survived by four brothers, one sister, and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services officiated by Rev. Harvey Tyler will be Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 3 PM at the Crisfield Church of God where a viewing will be one hour prior. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Cambridge.
