Dallas Ruark Obituary
Salisbury -Dallas Irving Ruark Jr of Salisbury passed away Sunday, January 10th, 2016. He was the son of the late Dallas Ruark Sr ( wife Shelia ) and Sherry Nichols Dukes ( husband Michael Sr).
Born in Salisbury, affectionately known as DJ, he worked as a truck driver and loved to sing in his father's band, Dallas and the Deep Creek.
He is survived by his children Ashley Ruark, Dallas Ruark III, Shy-Ann Ruark and Dylan Ruark and step daughters Heather Goldsborough and Elena Goldsborough, siblings Mark Lynch, Christopher Lynch, Kim Dalton, Mike Dukes Jr, John Swanner, Dianna Hildebrand, Robin Ruark and Donald Ruark, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He remained close to his former wife of many years Wendy Ruark.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 23rd at 1 pm at Lighthouse Wesleyan Church on Main Street in Salisbury MD.

DJ may have not been my blood brother but we were just like brothers growing up as neighbors on Sheldon Ave. in Fruitland. Sorry life took us in different paths and we lost touch and even more sorry I did not get to pray with you before you left us my brother. But, glad there is no more pain and no more suffering my friend. Love and prayers to all the family as you all were like family to me as well.

We're do I start you were always my favorite every time you called grandma Maggie would always give me the phone. I remember watching little D and you calling to check on me Terri was working night I loved staying with her to watch him with his cute self. You always had all the women and were always trying to make a dollar. The last time i seen you before I moved away you and Wendy came to my house on Washington street and you and Buck were talking and chillen and he was like I didn't know that was you uncle I said well technically cousin but I always called you uncle DJ I love you miss you hug uncle Dallas for me kiss Grandma Maggie for me you will be missed I love you love Karen
