Doris Muir Obituary
Salisbury-Doris Dashiell Muir, 86, of Salisbury passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Wicomico Nursing Home. Born in Salisbury she was the daughter of the late Edward and Virginia Dashiell.
Mrs. Muir was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Until her retirement, she worked as a Sales Clerk at Sears. She was an avid Oriole Fan and enjoyed watching games with her husband who was a Yankee Fan.
She is survived by her son, Gary V. Muir of Salisbury; daughter, Susan M. Ilari and her husband Chuck of Herndon, VA; four grandchildren, Nevis and Luette Muir, Christine Fritzemeier and Danielle Ilari; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Muir in 1994.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Rev. Harry Weir will officiate. Interment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Mrs. Muir to the Arthritis Foundation, Lower Eastern Shore Branch, 1505 Emerson Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21801.
